Farmers we do the projects together
Farmers are an indispensable sector in the production of "vege colorful paints".
This page introduces a part of the farmers in the Kansai region who are engaged in agriculture.
01 San-kyu（Manganji pepper）
San-kyu is an agricultural group working with about 25 members with disabilities. They grow Manganji chili peppers, a Kyoto Prefecture brand vegetable, process beer and herb tea using herbs, and have a café that serves drinks using homemade herbs.
Message from the farmers
The collaboration started because we sympathized with Lápis Private's desire to "utilize inperfect vegetables" and Sankyu's desire to "let people with disabilities take the leading role. The fact that this choice was not wrong is the respect I have for these women and their impressions.
02 Asagoi farm
This farm grows high-quality brand-name tomatoes, "Asagoi tomatoes," in an 8,000 m2 Dutch-type environmentally controlled greenhouse in Omihachiman City, Shiga Prefecture.
Message from the farmer
Since Mr. Sekizawa and Ruka are alumni of Ritsumeikan University, they are working on the SDGs through industry-academia collaboration. The flexibility of Ruka and the other members is wonderful.
